VetTriage

For after-hours emergency service we have partnered with VetTriage to offer video telehealth services. The VetTriage veterinarians are available 24/7 and will assess your pet on a live video chat for a small fee to determine if your pet requires immediate emergency care, or simple monitoring at home until we reopen. In the event of an emergency, they will coordinate your visit to the local on-call hospital or emergency veterinary hospital.

The service connects you with a licensed veterinarian who will:

  • Assess your pet’s condition through live video and determine if it’s an emergency that needs in-person care.
  • Provide instructions for home care and monitoring if an in-person visit isn’t necessary.
  • Coordinate with the on-call veterinarian at Island to Island Vet Clinic if emergency or urgent care is needed.

How It Works

  • $50 USD for non-equine animals
  • $75 USD for equine animals
    (Payment methods include credit/debit card or PayPal.)

Request your session: A licensed veterinarian will join you for a live video chat to triage your pet.

  • If you don’t have internet access or a camera device, you can request a phone triage session by calling VetTriage at (800) 940-1921

Step 1

To begin your session, complete the registration information or if you are a returning client, login using your email address. After clicking “Continue” you will be directed to our secure client payment portal.

Step 2

After entering our secure payment portal, click Purchase Session. You’ll then see payment options including credit or debit cards, and PayPal. Select your payment method and complete the transaction.

Step 3

After completing payment, click the Request Session button to connect directly with a licensed veterinarian. The doctor will triage your pet’s condition. If there is a medical emergency, they will work to connect you with the closest veterinary ER or on-call veterinarian.
