Education: Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Jolene Pflaum is a recent graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She was born and raised in Ketchikan and has always had a strong love for animals. She completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of Idaho which included music performance and biology. At Ross University she integrated herself into the community by forming a swine club, teaching and performing music, all while keeping up with her studies. Her final clinical year was spent in Ireland where she studied under a variety of clinicians and both small and large animal practices around the world. Before graduation she completed a certification in veterinary medical acupuncture through the Curacore Integrative medicine and education center. She has always wanted to come back to Ketchikan and work with the community that inspired her journey.
