Chrissy joined our team in August 2016. She manages the day-to-day operations of our clinic. Chrissy has always had a passion for working with animals, and after spending 4 years in the United States Coast Guard she realized her calling was to work with them. She managed 2 different Animal Shelters before her love of animal medicine brought her to her first Veterinary Hospital in Rhode Island. There, she trained as a receptionist and later, as a Veterinary Assistant. As an active-duty military spouse, Chrissy relocated every few years, enabling her to work at other Veterinary Hospitals around the country. Her most recent job before taking her position with Island to Island Veterinary Clinic, was a stay-at-home mom to her now 4 year old daughter, Adeline. Chrissy, her husband, Chad, and Adeline are excited to be heading back to Ketchikan, after Chad’s recent retirement from the USCG. They were once stationed in Ketchikan from 2000-2003, fell in love with it, and have always planned to return one day.
Chrissy and her family enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and camping.
